Visiting Us

Visitors are very welcome at Belle Vue, and here is some information to help you plan a visit.

Finding Us

For directions, and a map, please visit our Finding Us page.

We meet to worship twice on a Sunday, at 10.30am and 6.30pm. For more information about services at Belle Vue and across the rest of the Shropshire and Marches Methodist Circuit, you can also access the Circuit Plan.

The morning service is the larger gathering – attended by 60-70 people, it is friendly, varied and worshipful. There is a small Junior Church which meets fortnightly, and a creche area for babies and small children.  Once a month on the second Sunday we have a service involving our music group allowing us to explore a greater variety of hymns and songs.

Coffee and tea are served after the morning service, so feel free to join us for a drink and a chat.

The evening worship is generally quieter and 10 – 20 people attend.

Members of the Church act as a welcome team at Sunday services and can answer any further questions or concerns you may have.

There is no parking available at the Church itself, but there is space outside to drop passengers off. Parking is available in surrounding streets (such as South Hermitage).

We have step-free access to the Church, and there are toilet facilities available for disabled use through the door at the back of the Church.

We have large print copies available of the worship books we use, and we have a hearing induction loop (please switch your hearing aid to the T position). If you have any problems hearing, please let one of the stewards know so we can adjust the system for you.
